App Paye is a simple and fast payment solution for freelance and contract workers. It calculates tax and similar deductions and allows the individual control over when they want paying.

From plumbers to decorators, electricians to engineers on North Sea oil rigs, our brief was to deliver a campaign to win their hearts and minds and introduce App Paye. Cheeky and simple, our ads were placed across large-format OOH and poster sites in major cities and hubs including London and Aberdeen, as well as national radio.

Nominated for a coveted Aerial Award, we cast the comedy acting talents of the legendary Doon Mackichan and Ben Miller to deliver our script for the radio ad. It features the frank voice of a hardened company receptionist character performed by Doon, giving arduous directions to the ‘Payroll Department’ and closes with the reassuring voice of App Paye, performed by Ben.
